I am wondering none of these senators who responded as of now understand our request for adding the provision of recapturing unused visas. Please read below response from IOWA senator and not even one word about our request.

As you may know, Senator Richard Durbin introduced S. 729 on March 26, 2009. This legislation would allow unlawful immigrants who entered the U.S. as minors to gain eligibility for higher education benefits based on state residence, unless a U.S. citizen is eligible for the same benefits. S. 729 has been referred to the Senate Committee on Judiciary. You will be interested to know that Congressman Howard Berman introduced H.R. 1751, the American Dream Act, on March 26, 2009, which would create a similar law. H.R. 1751 has been referred to the House Committee on Judiciary and the House Committee on Education and Labor. Please be assured that I will keep your views in mind should the full House consider this issue during the 111th Congress.
Our nation faces many challenges, and economic recovery is vital if we are to meet them. I think you also need a Canadian address.
For people who have already landed and were not able to get a PR card applied, please follow the following link and apply for it.

Not that anyone would do this purposefully...
What if due to recession you loose your job and cannot find one for 1 year..then once you find one similar in duties and Title as ur LC, you start working (effectively after a long time since you lost ur original job/sponsor)...and were unemployed for 1 yr...or so..but at time of GC approval you have a similar job as your Orig LC...How much of a problem could that be or is it just your luck, that USCIS may or maynot ask for paystubs W2s etc for the last one year????

according to movie, India will be better place because we can make to the arks in Himalayas faster. From north America it will take longer time and we have to find Yuri to get ride. Lets not waste our energy on those who don't believe USCIS has done anything wrong or are content with the current state of immigration....lets focus on getting more and more support to this movement.
Ohh..BTW..i had another experience that I would like to share....Today, I went to renew my Driver's license which is expiring next week. I have already applied for H1-B extension. They did not renew my DL and sent it for immigration verification to SAVE(Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements). This process takes up to 3 months and till that time I have to stay without a DL. Worst part, when i went for my DL renewal last time..they did the same and I had to go thru the hardship without a DL for 3 months. I live alone..so imagine how I will live without driving here in US. I have been in US for 6 years and have 6 years of clean driving and immigration history.
I have another friend who went thru the same last year, his condition was even worse as his wife was pregnant at that time. The poor guy had to ask his friends for favors and hire cabs to take his wife to hospital for 3 months.
All of the above, because of the broken immigration system. If we don't raise a voice now,...when will we !!!!!

Hi SKK, it is not really required to have finger printed to get teh EAD approval. (i am talking aboutthe first time EAD). Your FP may come later on. At least in my case it was like that. I got my EAD approval first and later on only the FP came. Hope this helps ...

I was looking at the comments of one "sodepressed" in the Ron gothcer's forum..I am feeling really bad for this guy..I dont know what logic USCIS follows..but I assure you EB-3 I will fight for fair share and get it..with in 140 K numbers or thro Visa recapture #'s..first is to highlight our problems..so lets do it in creative ways...

It is a fact that EB3 India is a FORGOTTEN category. There appears to be a sense of intra-category elitism within the larger community that comes together at IV. EB3 I's make feeble attempts to be heard and some take a shot at innovative marketing campaigns to call attention to the plight of being stuck for over 6 ot 7 years in some cases. EB2 I's immediately respond with a self protectionist attitude and preach a higher calling that focuses on comprehensive solutions instead of piecemeal solutions. EB1 I's obviously choose to remain outside the fray, since these are matter of concern to vox populi, not them.
Some EB2's and EB3's then analyse the hell out of USCIS logic, to the extent that they could become full time spin meisters for ANY public organization. With very little fact, a healthy dose of opinion and a mish mash of 'logic', they piece together their 'strong' arguments -one way or the other.
Lost in this useless din of irrelevant analysis paralysis is the real misery of thousands of EB3 I's (such as myself) that have been stuck for years for no fault of ours. By the way, I happen to be a highly educated (for those that care) Executive that went to Top Private Universities in the US that happens to be stuck in EB3 ONLY because the company HR rep and lawyer at the time, chose to go down this path. POint being, there is no reason for EB2 I's to pontificate from a sense of elitist protectionism because there are EB3 I's like me that can outsmart a bunch of you in no time. Seriously. (This is for those that preach that if you are 'smart' you should be in EB2. Go read those threads).
So bottomline, let us stop behaving like CIS vs Anti CIS camps and instead UNITE towards the common cause. Let EB3I's air their frustrations. If you can come to help, do so. If not, stay out of it completely. No more half ass 'logic', please.

I don't think having a MS degree supercedes a BS always.
How can you compare say for example a BS+10 yrs person with a kid just out of school doing MS. Doesn't jive. I think at somepoint both level off. Just merely having a MS degree doesn't mean anything without experience.

My attorney sent documents to NSC on July 2nd 10.30 AM
Transferred from NS --> TSC with receipt date Aug 29'th.
My cheques were cashed on Aug 29th. Have not received the receipt numbers physically by psotal mail.
My question to you is " Will TSC send the receipt number documnets directly to me or to my Attorney?"

I just visited last month. I stayed there for 6 weeks...
Agree that economy is booking but....
(1) too much pollution.
(2) No infrastructure to handle cars and two wheeleers.
(3) too much mosquito even in winter/summer. I do not know what will happen in rainy days.
(4) prices for every item have gone up by 3X..Most of the item I am not able to justify the rise. The quality of the product has not gone up.
(5) easy to set up business..get house...get car but tough to drive peacefully...need to pray god every morning so that we come back home with 2 hands and 2 legs and unbroken body parts.
(6) Club culture is booming too...so if you have daughter who is teen then need to check by that angle too.
Just my two cents....

Adding dependents/derivative is based on primary�s PD and app status.
Challenge me with a scenario that will have an issue. If someone doesn�t have H4 they will be affected anyways. They will not have additional impact due to this.
Please read INA, I485 application and current VB.
I personally believe none will be affected and left too behind (yes, they will be delayed a bit, they will have AP/EAD to hold on to).
But add the Dependents to that. Now at least you wife is coming with you. Just think if there was no H4 visa.

Quick question...we applied for NSC on aug 2nd..did not hear anything yet. Just wondering did all of u , whose cases got transfered to other centers get Transfer notices or directly receipt notices.
I am gettign tensed as the days are passing by.

Finally got confirmation from my attorney they filed everything on June 6th, I guess now just wait and watch.
